The Trinity-Bellwoods neighbourhood is located in west area of downtown Toronto. The housing market within this community consists of row-townhouses, semi-detached, two-storey homes as well as fully detached homes. Many properties within Trinity-Bellwoods have undergone major renovations – making it extremely common to find a home with an abundance of character on the outside, alongside upscale modern finishes on the inside.
The eclectic up beat vibe of Queen West draws the younger crowd, where you will also find trendy retail, restaurants and nightlife. A stones throws away you will find the ever-evolving Ossington Strip, another sub community within the Trinity-Bellwoods neighbourhood. In the past, the Ossington strip was known as the hub for several sports bars as well as auto repair shops. Now it is home to several restaurants, pubs, boutiques and nightlife.
Trinity-Bellwoods Park itself is another big attraction in the Spring- Summer seasons. This park is one of Toronto’s largest green-spaces, 37 acres of indoor pools, Fitness Centre, gymnasium, playground, tennis court, outdoor ice rink, soccer, football, rugby as well as softball fields. Moreover, an ideal place for residents to walk their dogs. The Park’s ravine – known to man’s best friend as ‘the dog bowl’ – is an awesome attraction as well. The park is also home to white squirrels, alongside a nominal amount native and imported trees planted throughout the park – in various stages of growth from young to mature, which provide a brilliant display of colour against the deep green grass.
With Spring upon us, you will find the park will transform into a meeting place mecca. The park extends from Queen West to Dundas; which makes for a great walk through the city or even the perfect venue for a picnic under the trees.
